About Cryptique

Cryptique, Krewe of Cemetery Shamblers is a phantasmagorical walking krewe and social club based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We march (well, it's really more of a leisurely shamble) on Mardi Gras morning in the French Quarter.

Cryptique was created during Carnival season 2022 by the original members of the Cryptique Council. Our goal is to bring a Halloweeny vibe to Carnival by costuming ourselves in all manner of monstrous and otherwise spooktacular garb as we haunt the French Quarter, sharing frights and fun with all who gaze upon us. Above all we endeavor to bring positive energy and spine-tingling good times to Mardi Gras and to everything we do.

Cryptique proudly extends an invitation to all you revenants and revelers — all cryptids, creeps, and cadavers are welcome!
