About Cryptique

Cryptique, Krewe of Cemetery Shamblers is a phantasmagorical walking krewe and social club based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We march (well, it's really more of a leisurely shamble) on Mardi Gras morning in the French Quarter.

Cryptique was created during Carnival season 2022 by the original members of the Cryptique Council. Our aim is to bring a Halloweeny spirit to Carnival by costuming ourselves in all manner of monstrous and otherwise spooktacular garb. Above all we endeavor to bring positive energy and spine-tingling fun to Mardi Gras and to everything we do. Cryptique proudly extends an invitation to all you revenants and revelers — all cryptids, creeps, and cadavers are welcome!
